Things have been a big rollercoaster lately. You know, the kind of coaster that dangles you in the air, spins you around, up and over, etc. School's started, job's starting to dog me, and I've got another job lined up that normally I'd take in a heartbeat but I'm not so sure given the circumstances...

So the first semester started on Wednesday. I've got three classes happening: Intro to Programming, The First Year Experience, and Composition (a.k.a. English 101). Classes start after noon on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. The course outlines seem very doable and I'm excited to get started. Eng101 also ends mid-term; sometime in October, which will free up my nights. Financial aid covers all of my tuition and supplies, so I'm set to go. Just need to stay on top of things.

However, my supposedly full-time job at Taco Bell seems to have magically become part time. I really can't say why; I've got a few ideas in my head about it but I'm not saying anything because any assumptions I make are usually wrong and I end up looking like an idiot. So, I've been looking for more work.

I found a job on Craigslist for a Jr. IT Support Specialist position with this eCommerce company about 25 miles away. I interviewed with them on Thursday and the interview seemed to go really well. Hell, out of about 50 resumes submitted, only two caught the guy's attention, and obviously mine was one of them. In addition, some of the things I put down also got them to consider me for another opening they had for a Jr. Web Developer, which he says would pay well and be full-time.

I should be ecstatic. However, I'm in school; I've been waiting for the best opportunity to go to school for three years, and I really don't want to give it up. On the other hand, I am in dire need of the money to pay my rent and back bills, not to mention gas, groceries, and insurance. I really hope, if I get this, that I can work it around my school schedule. I don't want to have to drop a class, namely Programming, since it's the first class I have in the day, and I REALLY wouldn't feel right putting school on hold for the semester... I've got a lot of thinking to do.
