Been a while since my last blog post, but whatever. Yesterday was a great day, if I must say so myself.
First off, beautiful weather. It did heat up later in the day, but it wasn't disgustingly humid.I ran down to the somewhat-local community tech college, Three Rivers, finalized my financial aid stuff, and registered for classes. I've decided on an Associate's in Computer Science, and will be taking computer programming classes, some computer technology classes (I had no idea they offered those), and of course, the required academics; English, Statistics, etc. Afterwards I went to lunch at this buffet that opened recently, called Fusion Grill. Great food, great hospitality, much better than the place that was there before. Pretty cheap, too, about $6-7 per person during lunch hours. I ate myself silly and went home for a nap. Woke up, a while later and got to work on a couple projects, then took a break and started playing Team Fortress 2 on my XBox. I get an invite from a friend to play the 1 vs 100 Live beta. At first I wasn't too interested, but then he told me that the beta is now giving out prizes. Yes, if you have a gold account, start playing the 1 vs 100 Live shows; you can win Microsoft Points and LIVE Arcade games. It isn't guaranteed, though (duh), so look at the official website for details. At any rate, while playing, I was chosen to be part of The Mob. First time ever. And guess what? I blew the first question. FFFFFFFFF. |
