Been a while since my last update. So much going on, yet so little that's blogworthy.
My car's registration expired on the tenth, and just before that I had mailed in my renewal and paid the taxes on the damn thing. Three days ago, my mother was driving it and she gets pulled over by a cop that ran the plates and found that the car wasn't registered. |

Well, the unemployment hearing went well. They never responded, so they took my story and ran with it. Should be getting my checks soon.
Turns out that I am actually well over the halfway mark with the moving craep. All the odds and ends that appeared really are things that we don't need, so we'll just throw them into a box and stash them at my uncle's. I also got rid of the couch and loveseat, so I can start organizing the place now and get everything hooked up. I really didn't want to drag my grandfather into this, but it was inevitable, especially when you're the closest relative with a big pickup truck.
Well, after this I can finally focus on paying off my back bills and furthering my career. Need to study for that A+ exam; I'm nervous as hell about it since the practice tests kept throwing these oddball-assed questions at me, so each time I took it, I was dancing on the border of Passtown and Failsville. |
